WHAT IS THE BLUE CHIP SHOOTOUT?
The BLUE CHIP Shootout is an exposure event for student athletes who aspire to play at the collegiate level. It provides each athlete with the opportunity to compete against quality competition during the NCAA "live" period for college recruiters. Each athlete is guaranteed 50% playing time.
ATTENTION CLASS OF 2002: There will be a special Senior Division that the college coaches will be made aware of. The coaches who attend the shootout and observe these games willl still be searching for players to attend their schools in the Fall of 2002.
FEES:
* $75 for players graduating in June 2002
* $125 for all other players
TIME:
* Registration -- 8 AM
* First game time - 9 AM

SUNY Old Westbury is located immediately north of the Long Island Expressway (L.I.E. exit 41N) in the village of Old Westbury, N.Y., approximately 16 miles east of the New York City line.
The main entrance to the college is located on the west side of Rte. 107 approximately one-half mile north of Jericho Turnpike.
From the South Shore (Nassau County) take either Meadowbrook Parkway or Wantagh Parkway to Northern State Parkway eastbound. Exit Northern State at Exit 35 North (Broadway/Rte.107). Proceed north to campus entrance.
From the North Shore (Nassau County) take either Northern State Parkway or the L.I.E. eastbound to Rte. 107 (Northern State Exit 35 North; L.I.E. Exit 41 North) and proceed north to campus entrance.
From the South Shore (Suffolk County) take the most convenient north-south road to L.I.E. westbound. Exit 41 North (Broadway/Rte.107) and proceed north to main entrance.
From the North Shore (Suffolk County) take L.I.E. westbound. Exit 41 North (Broadway/Rte. 107) and proceed north to main entrance.
